Chinese New Year, is also called the Spring Festival. The Spring Festival is the most important traditional festival in China. It is celebrated with great joy by Chinese people all over the world.
During the festival, families will have a big feast, set off firecrackers, and give each other red envelopes. People wear new clothes, clean their houses, and decorate them with red lanterns and couplets. There are lion and dragon dances, as well as beautiful fireworks displays.
The festival lasts for 15 days and ends with the Lantern Festival. It is a time for Chinese people to welcome happiness, good fortune, and a brand-new start to the year.

Last summer vacation, I took Piano 8 level test. I still remember one of the most difficult piano pieces called. I practiced this music several days, but I couldn’t play it well. I felt very frustrated. But I told myself: “Hang in there, you can do it.” I listened to how the masters played it and tried to feel the story and melody. To play well, it is not only my fingers touching the keys, but also my whole body dancing with the rhythm of the music. I practiced over and over for one month, finally I felt confident again and I could play the music very frequently. Do one thing at a time, and do it well. I believe I can.

There are many ways to get to a place. This weekend，I’m going to Ningbo Youngor Zoo. It is not far from my home. So I have many ways to get there.
Firstly, I can get there by the No.109 bus. I start from Wang Shengling Primary School. Get off at the supermarket. Then wait for the No.915 bus. Get off the bus and walk straight for 10 minutes. Finally, I’m at the south gate of Ningbo Youngor Zoo.
Secondly, I can go by bike. It’s convenient but it’s slowly. It takes about 35 minutes. That’s good exercise. And I can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the Dongqian Lake.
Thirdly, I can go there by car. It’s very fast. It’s only about 10 minutes.
You see, we can choose different ways to get to a place. Which one do you like?
